Chișinău International Airport (KIV) is Moldova’s main international hub. However, nearby airports such as Iași (Romania) offer alternative routes. From Iași, you can travel to Chișinău in 1.5 to 2 hours by taxi, bus, or rental car. This option is ideal if you’re visiting Romania and Moldova in one trip. Odesa (Ukraine) was once an alternative but is currently not advisable due to the situation in Ukraine.
